We invite you to join the Diaper Bank of NC and the NC Period Power Coalition for Period Power Advocacy Day 2025 at the NC General Assembly. This student-centered event gives you the opportunity to meet with state legislators, raise awareness about period poverty, and advocate for increased access to period supplies for students across NC.

This student-centered event gives you the opportunity to meet with state legislators, raise awareness about period poverty, and advocate for increased access to period supplies for students across NC.
Student requirements:
- Be between the ages of 14–18 (if you're in grades 9–12, you'll need a parent or guardian’s approval)
- Turn in an application signed by your parent or guardian
- Know what period poverty is and why access matters
Comfortable speaking in front of others
We’re looking for adult mentors to join the Diaper Bank of NC and the NC Period Power Coalition for Period Power Advocacy Day 2025 at the NC General Assembly.
As a mentor, you’ll support and guide students as they meet with state legislators, raise awareness about period poverty, and advocate for increased access to period supplies for students across NC. Your experience and leadership will help empower the next generation of advocates!

About: The Period Power Teen Leadership Board is a group of passionate teens dedicated to fighting period poverty and advocating for increased access to period supplies. As a member, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by sharing your voice, raising awareness, and helping shape change across NC.
